DBA'S Street Series (SS) brake pads are the latest addition to DBA’s comprehensive range of braking products. Aimed at the OE replacement market, the range was developed with three technical objectives in mind – create a brake pad that performs at OE level or better, offers the best friction formulation for the application, and complements DBA’s long-established, market-leading range of street series disc rotors.

Great attention was given to the development of the friction formulation to achieve a friction coefficient that outperforms the current market standard. Consequently, DBA did not settle on just one formulation, but offers either ceramic or semi-metallic formulations depending on application and required performance.

DBA recommends street series brake pads for everyday use application in passenger cars, SUVs and Light
Commercial Vehicles.

DBA recommends use with street series plain or T2 slotted disc rotors for increased first application effectiveness and reducing bed-in time.

DBA Street Performance is the next step up for all vehicles, developed to provide an effective friction response to pedal application and offer low wear and dust minimisation.

DBA’s Xtreme Performance brake pads have been designed for drivers seeking high initial bite and friction consistency from low to high temperatures. The XP range are for heavy duty applications, where higher friction levels are required, in order to safely brake under extreme conditions.

DBA recommends T3 slotted rotors in the 4000 & 5000 Series for best stopping performance.

DBA’s Street Series T2 rotor provides all the benefits of DBA’s Street Series direct replacement rotors with the added benefit of performance braking through the introduction of DBA’s patented T2 slot design.

The T2 slot design features precise CNC machined bi-symmetrical slots, resulting in a quieter, more responsive and smoother brake pedal feel. The T2 slot increases the number of exit points, allowing friction dust and gases to escape and enhancing the pad bite.

DBA’s revolutionary universal slot design also eliminates the need for separate left and right slot designs seen in traditional rotor designs.

We recommend the T2 slot design for more intensive braking applications.
